Candygrams!
Dearest FCCLAians!
Guess what? Valentine's Day is coming up!
We are continuing our tradition of making candygrams to sell. Super exciting!
Where: Mrs. Pendleton's Room
When: February 12th
Time: Right after school
Come help put together Valentine's candygram bags!
It will be a lot of fun, and there will be SNACKS(:

Star Events!
Dearest Members,
I hope you all know what your Star Event for this year is. It is not mandatory, but who wouldn't want to miss out on this super fun experience that looks fabulous on college applications, and also when recognition is involved?
Friends, if you do not know what to do, please talk to either Nicole Keddington or Alexia Gibson- our two Star Event Officers.
Area Competitions (sort of like a practice round) is February 5th. BE PREPARED!
Since it is more of a practice round, there is no need for adding tiny details and such. Let the judges tell you what to do, before you really stress yourself out.

FCCLA Area Event!
Hello fellow members of FCCLA!
We are having our Area Event at Planet Play in Draper, UT October 23rd at 5:00pm.
It is $13 per person, but it includes laser tag, the go karts, $10 for the arcade, bowling, miniature golf, plus the all-you-can-eat buffet.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask one of the Officers.

2013 Nationals in Nashville, TN!
Our 2nd FCCLA student to qualify for Nationals is Vince Murinigo. He won Top Gold in Food Innovations at the State Conference in Layton in April. He is excited to be going to his first Nationals this summer! Congratulations Vince! Go represent Herriman High and the great members of our chapter!

FCCLA Nationals in Orlando, FL!
Herriman High had their first student to qualify to go to Nationals! Sara Hall won Top Gold in Chapter Showcase - Manual at State Convention in Layton. In July, she and Mrs. Pendleton went to Florida with the Utah Delegation and had a blast. They had time to go to Disney World, Universal Studios, and also get the most out of the Convention. Sara is going to be the new president next year and she has learned many things to bring back and utilize in our chapter. Way to go, Sara Hall!

Welcome to HHS!!!
There is so much to do to get a new school ready to open! We are hoping to assemble a great group of officers for next year. We are excited to meet everyone and make some plans for a great first year at Herriman High School! Go Mustangs!
